Golang Job: Staff Software Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Golang) (all genders) to join the Vendor management squad on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

The team is responsible for owning the data of the vendors and being the single source of truth by the vendors` information as well as reflect their business needs through efficient and scalable solutions. As a staff engineer, you will own the applications running by the vendor management squad, help us to move towards our short and long term goals, and help neighbouring teams to maintain and achieve their goals.

Your mission:

• Guide teams and build a culture to create an architecture that scales.

• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams.

• Promote and guide cross-team initiatives to improve the system.

• Value quality by using design patterns and best practices in relevant technologies like cloud environments and CI/CD and testing.

• Strive for simplification of systems and processes to ensure fast and reliable delivery of our products.

Your heroic skills:

• Deep understanding of system design and distributed systems architecture.

• Hands-on experience with Go-Lang.

• Believe in continuous integration and continuous delivery principles.

• Ability to write, understand, and maintain complex technical documentation and instructions.

• Knowledge of data streaming architecture.

• Great understanding of cloud-based architecture and service providers, especially AWS.

• Deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods, and best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS and micro-frontend.

• Experience working with Dora metrics.
